Role Overview

The Construction Planner will be responsible for the jobsite’s LNG portion of the EPC schedule on the Corpus Christi Liquefaction (CCL) project. Candidate will be expected to understand the project scope, with a focus on Construction. Candidate is also expected to understand the project schedule objectives and can develop and maintain plans to accomplish those objectives. The successful candidate will plan and coordinate, as directed, the schedule interfaces with Bechtel disciplines, vendors, and subcontractors. The Construction Planner will work with the lead scheduler to prepare ad hoc requests and workarounds when required. Duties require accuracy, judgment, communication, organization, quality products and excellent computer skills.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree required

  • Ideal candidate has current LNG scheduling experience on a lump sum stick-built project

  • Motivated self-starter with ability to effectively interface with team members

  • Candidate should be able to work independently and effectively manage time to meet project requirements for schedule development to support project requirements.

  • Experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning and scheduling functions, which include schedule development, control, and analysis.

  • Skilled in oral and written communication.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (MS Access and Power BI are desirable)

  • Proficiency with Primavera P6 and familiar with other BSAPs, e.g., ePCWorks/QURR, eTrack, BPS, Teamworks, Setroute, Pipefighter (desirable), etc.

  • Knowledge of field engineering, field procurement, contracts, construction, and startup work processes

  • Knowledge of engineering and construction management customarily acquired over time through specialized instruction or practical experience.

Additional Information

  • Familiarization with Cheniere program processes and practices is highly desirable

  • Must already have right to work in USA for a minimum of 24 months after the start date.
