Role Overview

The Senior Recruiter reports to the OG&C Manager of Staffing & Recruitment and acts as an integral member of the Oil, Gas & Chemicals HR team by providing expert knowledge in the sourcing, talent acquisition and hiring process.

The roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Execution of domestic and international staffing & recruitment activities for Oil Gas & Chemicals

  • Development and implementation of staffing & recruitment processes

  • Act as a consultant to hiring managers

  • Source candidates to fill the recruiting pipeline, conduct candidate assessments, make hiring recommendations including appropriate salary and classification of personnel

  • Negotiate offer packages and monetize domestic/international assignment conditions (in a variety of currencies)

  • Compiling and maintaining various staffing reports, conduct related data analysis

  • Communicate candidate status to hiring managers and HR colleagues

  • Conduct all recruitment activities in compliance with federal employment laws and regulations

  • Responsible for special projects relating to staffing and recruitment as assigned by the OG&C Manager of Staffing & Recruitment

  • Coaching and change management support for functional teams on the new internal/external staffing policies

  • Strong communication skills, collaborative team player, problem solver with strong customer service focus

Basic Qualifications

  • 10 years of HR/Talent Acquisition experience with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a full cycle technical recruiting role

  • EPC recruitment experience with O&G heavy industrial projects

  • Previous experience with OFCCP compliance

  • Experience working in an Applicant Tracking System (SuccessFactors preferred)

  • Must have strong industry and market knowledge

  • Must be organized, flexible, proactive and have strong written and oral communication skills

  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with people in a professional manner

  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information

  • Proven ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced and team-oriented environment

  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong preference for international contractor experience

  • Must be able to productively manage 70-100 requisitions at any given time with a focus on quality resume review

  • Understanding of engineering project types, familiarity with engineering software (calculation/deign packages), EPC oil and gas competitors, technical skills set per engineering disciplines (Civil/Structural/Architectural, Geotechnical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Process, Process Systems/Project, Plant Design Piping, Environmental, Process Safety Engineering)
