Project Overview:

Pluto Train 2 is the expansion of a second LNG train at the existing Pluto LNG onshore facility near Karratha in Western Australia run by Woodside Energy.

Pluto Train 2 will process Scarborough gas and have an LNG capacity of 5 million tonnes per annum. As part of the construction of Pluto Train 2, additional domestic gas infrastructure will be installed to increase capacity to 225 Terajoules per day.

Woodside Energy has selected Bechtel to deliver the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning scope of work for Pluto Train 2.

Woodside Energy is Australia's leading natural gas producer, and Bechtel is excited to be working with this key customer to help meet the increasing global demand for LNG as a transitional energy source.

Job Summary:

As Craft Supervisor Electrical, you will monitor and organize subcontractor planning, safety, quality, and technical activities on a complex project with multiple stakeholders’ involvement, through the coordination and instruction of subcontractor’s management staff. Your field supervision will help ensure operations are planned to coincide with overall established schedules and that work methods are planned and executed safely.

Major Responsibilities:

Planning

  • Monitors subcontractor construction schedules, resource charts, and material and equipment requirements.

  • Reviews subcontractor construction methods, schedules, manning charts, and material and equipment requirements.

Safety / Quality

  • Monitors installation of materials and equipment to assure conformance with drawings, specifications, vendor, and other requirements

  • Enforces policies, procedures and related work rules as established by field construction management.

Technical

  • Supports Construction Field Engineers, Foremen, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents

  • Coordinates engineering solutions with Subcontractors, and Foremen and Craft Professionals.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Significant relevant field experience

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of EPCM contract management, and the Contractor(s) and their subcontractor’s (if applicable) responsibilities.

  • Knowledge of construction technologies.

  • Knowledge of supervisory functions relating to field activities.

  • Familiarity with current industry quality standards.

  • Demonstrated commitment to Environment, Safety and Health (ES&H).
