Project Overview:

Port Arthur LNG, LLC (PALNG) is developing a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility on a site located on the western shoreline of the Port Arthur Canal in Jefferson County, Texas. The project base scope will include two (2) identical LNG trains, two (2) LNG Storage Tanks, one (1) LNG Carrier Berth, and associated utilities/facilities. The Project is to be constructed on a parcel of land located along State Highway 87 south of Port Arthur, Texas, between the inner coastal waterway bridge and Keith Lake.

Job Summary:

In this role, you will support construction workface effectiveness programs including coordination of participants, course design, leadership development, learning tools, facilitation methods, dashboards, and reporting. You will monitor program quality and progress, collect data, and coordinate analysis activities. Your input and recommendations will support the design and effectiveness of future courses.

This role supports a robust and dynamic development program that seeks to cultivate a strong leadership culture on our projects and retain our top field leadership talent.

Major Responsibilities:

CWE Operations Specialist

  • Provides scheduling, communication, and administrative support

  • Reviews and ensures quality assurance testing on all training materials created

  • Makes minor modifications to learning design to accommodate regional training needs

  • Tasked with building relationships to gain intimate knowledge of the productivity constraints impacting performance at the workface.

  • Embrace the role of a coach and guide in problem solving.

  • Serves as Workface Resource assigned to specific project area, responsible for facilitating all CWE tools related to the identification and mitigation of workface constraints (i.e., site productivity engagement cycle; High-Performance Leaders (HPL) tailored behavior / leadership development; Process Improvement; Coaching) as defined in the project Construction Workface Effectiveness Execution Plan for assigned area in accordance with the requirements of this procedure

  • Conducts necessary interface points with Site, Area and Frontline Management / Leadership and responsible parties for report outs and mitigation strategies.

  • Possesses responsibility for reporting and tracking project Construction Workface Effectiveness Execution Plan progress, including scheduling, attendance, status, and metrics, managing and requesting program materials, and/or consumables from the Construction Workface Effectiveness organization.

  • Supports and coordinates data collection and reporting, coordinates analysis activities, root cause analysis, barrier identification and resolution at a corporate level across projects

  • Apply problem solving and Six Sigma techniques for root cause analysis of constraints impacting the workface, identified through activity sampling findings and trends

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Intermediate Office skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI)

  • Knowledge of Six Sigma techniques and problem solving

  • Experience leading people

  • Comprehensive understanding of general Construction practices and Basic knowledge of Project Life Cycle.

  • Advanced written and oral communication skills

  • Proven construction Experience

  • Bilingual English / Spanish (preferred)
