Role Overview :

As a member of the Digital Supply Chain System (DSCS) Leadership Team, this role provides oversight and process control for the deployment and sustainment of the Digital Supply Chain System (DSCS).

The successful candidate will identify activities needed to fully achieve successful system adoption, including creation and updating of deployment strategy/plans, manuals, procedures, policies, training materials, schedules, etc., in conjunction with corporate resources; facilitate deployment status meetings, training activities, workshops and other meetings, as required; and conduct ongoing coordination activities with functional partners and stakeholders.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Gain understanding of all aspects and project requirements involved with the implementation of the DSCS through partnership with sponsors, managers, leads and project team members

  • Establish and maintain master deployment, setup and configuration plans for new projects

  • Manage and facilitate the project setup and configuration of DSCS

  • Oversee the development and execution of all deployment communications (all media)

  • Conduct periodic readiness assessments and appropriate interventions

  • Conduct training needs assessments and support the GBUs with development of associated training structure and materials

  • Deliver regular status reports and schedules to management as required

  • Work with both the Supply Chain Functional team members, and the IS&T Technical team members to communicate priorities of deployment activities, including coordination of production support critical issues

  • Report risks and issues that may impact the success of deployment to the appropriate level of the organization

  • Travelling to Bechtel offices and projects to assist in deployment activities, including training sessions and management coordination, will be required

  • The DSCS Deployment Manager will report to the Global Supply Chain Systems Manager and will coordinate closely with the GBU DSCS Implementation Managers, GBU DSCS Specialists and various project resources as needed

  • Other duties as assigned

Consistency in follow up, attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience in supply chain management / business administration and a minimum of 5 years of experience

  • Working knowledge of Engineering/Construction industry supply chain practices and Bechtel policies, procedures, and work processes

  • Must be able to communicate about technical issues

  • Collaborative and consultative work style

  • Expert Microsoft Office skills

  • Strong planning, prioritization and organization skills

  • Excellent English language communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Customer-service oriented individual with a demonstrated professional demeanor and communication style

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including early mornings, late nights and weekends

  • Must have legal right to work in U.S. without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience in supply chain management / business administration

  • 3 years experience with Bechtel including project assignments

  • Basic knowledge in Database technology

  • Experience with MS SharePoint, MS Teams and Jira systems is beneficial

  • Current experience in customer problem solving and end user support is beneficial

  • Knowledge of Bechtel supply chain systems and practices are highly desirable

  • Exposed to or trained in Six Sigma disciplined, data-driven approach and methodology is desirable

  • Capable of applying good judgment in a matrixed and complex organizational structure

  • Proficiency with the Bechtel Leadership Model
