The Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) organization supports Bechtel’s global business and projects from strategic planning through delivery of IT related products and services. IS&T’s scope and responsibilities include:

Delivery and support of core IT infrastructure, software solutions, and services that enable effective business execution at the Corporate, GBU and Project level.

Protection of company, partner, client and employee information through prudent use of information security best practices.

Development, support and empowerment of a highly motivated team of professionals supporting business and project needs.

Pursuit of innovative solutions and technologies to enable competitive advantage and efficiency of systems, creating differentiation for Bechtel.

The Information Systems and Technology organization hires in the following areas: Infrastructure, Information Security, Software Engineering/Support, Big Data Analytics, Information Management, and in other areas of support for our Corporate Systems. These areas all play an important role within our organization and are essential to the sharing of information and data collection amongst our employers, clients, and partners towards achieving our company's business goals and objectives.

The total number of hires and start dates are subject to workload and business conditions. Locations will vary based on project needs, and may include Houston, TX, Glendale, AZ, and Reston, VA, along with various project sites.

General Job Duties

Meeting preparation to include drafting agendas, completing and following up on action items, providing presentation support, recording meeting minutes, etc.

Prepare white papers, correspondence, presentations and other key deliverables.

Support CIO in various committee roles and/or reporting out to key committees.

Support CIO and senior leadership team participation in external activities.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Technology, Information Systems Management, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering from an accredited college or university within the past twelve (12) months

Possess the eligibility to work and remain in the U.S. without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

Completed relevant coursework with a strong GPA

Prior co-op or internship experience

Excellent written and oral communication skills
