The Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) organization hires in the following areas: Infrastructure, Systems Engineering, Information Security, Application Engineering/Development, Big Data Analytics, Information Management, and in other areas of support for our Corporate Systems. General Job Duties
Computer Networking is responsible for:
Being the first line of response for cyber-security incidents and/ornetworking needs;
supporting networking and security team needs;
monitoring alerts and events utilizing monitoring tools and providing day-to-day security reports on monitored activities;
managing and resolving security and networking operations tickets in a timely fashion;
working with the Corporate Incident Response Team on incidents and initiatives; and
participating in the improvement and/or development of security monitoring and networking processes and procedures documentation.
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Technology, Information Systems Management, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering from an accredited college or university
Possess the eligibility to work and remain in the U.S. without sponsorship
Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Technology, Information Systems Management, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering from an accredited college or University
Completed relevant coursework with a strong GPA
Prior co-op or internship experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Familiarity with Windows, Apple, and Linux-based operating systems (i.e., XP, Windows 7, 2003, 2008, or OS X)
Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SMTP, and SNMP
Worked with network traffic analysis tools (i.e., Wireshark, tcpdump, etc.)
